As our Sales Support for our Nordic & Export markets you will play a key role for the day-to-day administrative activities of the sales team so that the organization’s sales force is effectively supported and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and economically including act as sales support for the Nordic and as Junior Sales responsible for part of our Export markets. The ideal candidate should be ready to grow into an Area Manager for our Export customers.

Uncover the unique machine functionality of all our products. The beverage development center of Barry Callebaut is located outside Helsingborg, Sweden. There, powder drinks are developed and manufactured for a global market. The focus is on chocolate under our marketed brands Van Houten and Caprimo.

 

About the role
The Sales Support Nordics & Export will contribute to the sales, supporting the team as required including creation of presentations. Further the candidate is responsible to address customer needs and questions and work with Barry Callebaut resources to ensure timely follow-up. Answers incoming new customer inquiries and provides accurate information regarding interrogation about our product and alternative solution as available.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles enquiries (e.g. samples, quotations, specifications, certificates, other required information) from potential customers and existing customers from the Nordics and Export Markets.
  • Grow the export market, including but not limited to; outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, or mail as directed, new product launches, etc. Ensure streamlined operations with other departments.
  • Handling daily business such as complaints, packaging issues, marketing material, assists with documents for local approval, specifications and payment reminders.
  • Keep track and update the information, incl. price sheets, in our CRM system, Salesforce.
  • Websites: Handle all enquiries, coordinate with the sales team and reply to requests from countries where we do not have any activity today.
  • Performs timely and professional administrative support and coordination for sales and marketing related activities and teams
  • Deliver reports weekly for Customer Service + Sales Weekly Vending Report (from Sales Force), Invitations to international conference calls. Visitor reports Follow up - visitor reports.

  • Help to systematize and improve this process. 
  • Handle a lot of incoming enquiries in parallel with ongoing reports, administrative support to sales and marketing teams in an environment that is constantly changing. It is important to be able to keep focus and efficiency to manage the tasks and bring them to a successful close. REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/commercial subject or equivalent practical experience
  • +2 years of experience in business to business sales, customer service or sales related activities
  • Experience in working with SalesForce
  • Knowledge with MSOffice Software applications
  • Expertise knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Effective communication, organizational, customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English, French and Swedish/Danish; any additional languages an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a diverse environment with different cultural behaviors
  • Ability to handle customer requests, prioritize, and manage numerous deadlines and a lot going on at the same time
