About the role:
The Quality Systems Coordinator implements quality standards related to GFSI standard, customer, religious and sustainability standards in the plant.
He/she ensures customer requirements are known and implemented, and provides professional and timely answers to customers questionnaires.
This all while respecting and promoting people safety standards.

This is a temporary position for a period of about 5 months.


Responsibilities include:
Support implementation of new or improved FSSC22000, religious, sustainable and/or customer requirements

  • Supporting the implementation of GFSI, religious, sustainability and customer requirements. 
  • Drive internal auditing related to GFSI, religious, sustainability, customer and quality management systems
  • Coordinate customer and third party audits
  • Supporting other functions to achieve compliance with the above mentioned standards.
  • Ensure training of local staff to achieve the food safety and quality system objectives
  • Participate in customer and third party audits
  • Follow up on local food regulations, escalate if required and integrate in local food safety standards to ensure compliance
  • Provide expert advice to other functions


Drive and support Implementation of new or improved customer requirements

  • Provide professional and timely answers to customer questionnaires
  • Negotiate where relevant internally and with customers on possibilities and restrictions including exploring and presenting alternative options
  • Where appropriate, identify improvement areas and follow up on concrete action plans
  • Analyze customer inquiries to identify recurring questions/topics/issues and areas where customer service can be improved


Project Management

  • Understand, review and provide feedback on the impact of projects on customer requirements
  • Participate at meetings effectively, liaise with stakeholders and communicate and interact actively with all functions

About you:

  • Bachelor in Food Science/Chemistry, Nutrition or equivalent
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety in local or international food, pharmaceutical or feed company.
  • Experience in auditing.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety management, HACCP management, GMPs (Hygiene practices, Sanitation, Environmental
  • Monitoring, Pest Control etc), GFSI certification schemes (BRC, FSSC 22000).
  • Fluent in French and Dutch. Mastering of English a requirement
  • Drive to deliver, taking initiatives and leadership skills
  • Compliance focus 
  • Internal and external customer focus
  • Being an effective communicator, navigating through different audiences
  • Change Management, as a key driver
