SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Job Summary:

 

The Regional Manager, HR Business Partner provides the overall link between the operations and the people needs for the ten US locations. The role facilitates the design and/or delivery of the regional and global HR policies, programs, HR systems and processes that support our growth and in achievement of our strategic business objectives.

 

The role requires a strong foundation in all facets of HR including, employee engagement, talent acquisition, coaching, performance management, rewards and recognition, safety, worker’s compensation and employee relations, while ensuring the correct application of state and federal legislation is observed. Essential Functions:

 

  • Partner with functional and local site leaders to stay current on business issues. Lead and support the US Human Resources team and facilitate communications on all HR related topics. Ensure the diverse and inclusive atmosphere is maintained.
  • Consult with internal teams, such as Talent Management, HR Systems, Compensation, Learning and Development, to plan and drive initiatives and ensure that programs are planned, organized and meet business objectives.
  • Advise on escalated employee issues of a complex and/or sensitive nature. Liaise with the Compliance and Legal teams on workplace investigations. Provides support to managers and employees – mediating and coaching when necessary.
  • Provides HR policy and program guidance and interpretation by advising the HR team and people managers to assist them in effectively applying company policies and guidelines, applicable laws, and regulations to people-based issues and concerns.
  • Interprets HR metrics data, extracts the local story and works with managers to develop pertinent action plans. Analyzes local turnover trends & works with leaders to mitigate resource risks.
     

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

 

  • BA/BS in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent HR experience

 

Work experience:

 

  • 7 to 10 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry, with solid knowledge of both Federal and State-level Employment and Labor Law and prior people leadership experience

 

Additional Considerations and Competencies:

  • Google and MS Office suite skills required
  • Ability to professionally manage highly sensitive & confidential information
  • Ability to lead and influence others in a positive manner
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and comfortable addressing difficult situations
  • Self-motivated; action and results-oriented; able to multi-task and drive multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and organized with song prioritization, decision-making and follow-up skills
  • Ability to offer and promote a high level of internal customer service
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Good listening, fact-finding, conflict management and interpersonal skills
