The Tactical Planner is responsible for planning and analytical support for the execution of tactical plans. The planner will support the team in the analysis and deployment of the long-term capacity planning (S&OP, 5-24 months) for the North American region. The planner will work with the team to balance supply and demand on a long-term horizon while respecting performance targets such as service level, working capital, and costs and proposes solutions to manage deviations. The planner will also work closely with the tactical planning manager and other key stakeholders to deliver successful cycles of the tactical plan.

 

Key responsibilities include: 
 

  • Publish weekly reporting of KPI dashboards and availability reports.
  • Partner with factory reporting on attainment and drivers for over and underperformance
  • Collaborate with pricing and sales group on available capacity and contract reconciliations
  • Support in the preparation and analysis of presentations for the monthly (e.g. Supply Review) and quarterly planning cycles
  • Plan in scope capacities to deliver a production plan and external supply plan for the tactical horizon (5-24 months) including network modeling of the finished good network for select sites.
  • Ensure capacity and resource discussions are being had to set up network to execute consensus demand plan, including production, interflows, warehousing, materials, inventory, and distribution constraints.
  • Support the monetization of the Supply Plan
  • Collaborate with various factories and operational planners to validate system updates and ensure consistency between operational and tactical plans.
  • Work closely with demand planning in a feedback loop on consensus demand plans
  • Collaborate with OSCO Strategic Projects to provide the tactical base plan for Capex investment scenarios
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the Supply Chain Planning processes
  • Reflect the strategic and S&OP decisions within the tactical plans (e.g. Setup OPR plan to achieve stock targets and stock build-up from Tactical Plan)
  • Collaborate with different OSCO groups to perform “What if” simulations and Risks-Opportunities analyses, based on supply and/or demand scenarios.
  • Support the definition and maintenance of planning parameters and master data for capacity and capability (operating standards).
  • Actively contribute to the annual budget process and target settings of KPIs.
     

About you:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-7years of experience in Supply Chain Planning activities
