The tactical planner runs, analyzes and deploys long term capacity planning (S&OP, 24 month) for chocolate in the region. This person balances supply and demand on a long-term horizon while respecting performance targets such as service level, working capital and costs and proposes solutions to manage deviations.

Key responsibilities include: 

●    Manage the production plan and external supply plan for the tactical horizon (24 months)
●    Contribute to the preparation and participate to the regional S&OP meeting
●    Ensure capacity & resources are in place to support agreed demand plan
●    Maintain network modeling
●    Collaborate with OSCO Strategic Projects to provide the tactical base plan for Capex investment scenarios
●    Model CAPEX investment decisions from the strategic plan with a time-phased vision
●    Identify opportunities to continuously improve the Supply Chain Planning processes
●    Define the target needed inventory with the agreed balance between availability risks and working capital
●    Reflect the strategic and S&OP decisions on the tactical plans (e.g. Setup OPR plan to achieve stock targets and stock build-up from Tactical Plan)
●    Collaborate with Cocoa S&OP managers (and cocoa tactical planners?) and with cross-functional teams to build alternative scenarios to solve tactical supply issues
●    Perform “What if” simulations, based on supply and/or demand scenarios
●    Perform ad hoc analysis to support decision making when several options are identified
●    Ensure the consistency between operational plans and long-term plans
●    Maintain master data needed for tactical planning
●    Build reports and follow KPIs on availability, stock level and production rates
●    Actively contribute to the budget construction


About you:

●    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
●    Master’s degree or equivalent 
●    5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning activities
