SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Summary:

 

The position supports the Region Americas (North and South America) Supply Chain operations. As a business partner, you are dealing with factory supply chain managers across the network and central supply chain functions in the regional headquarters. You provide your stakeholders with the relevant financial information necessary to make operational decisions based on facts and figures. The network includes roughly 20 facilities and the annual operational supply chain budget is around $100 million. This role also supports operational and capital projects within the supply chain organization.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Work closely with the Regional Finance Director of OSCO Business Partnering and the Director of Supply Chain
  • Shared responsibility for the financial results of the supply chain organization
  • Monthly analysis and follow-up of budget and prior year variances
  • Prepare budget for finished goods supply chain costs (labor, warehousing and transportation)
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting to support logistics, warehousing and inventory management
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and investment proposals
  • Support inventory management and re-work, blocked stock and slow-moving inventory initiatives
  • Analyze inbound logistics flows, including sea and ocean freight and the associated import/export of product
  • Continuously recommend scenarios and decide upon procedures to increase efficiency or avoid inefficiencies
  • Drive change and recommend solutions in supporting the achievement of business goals and targets for the supply chain organization

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education & Work Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or supply chain management
  • SAP/Business Warehouse knowledge preferred
  • Experience in budgeting, investment analysis, variance analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong personality and leadership, excellent work ethic and teamwork skills
  • Strong technical abilities (Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or consumer products environment
