To develop competitive, accurate price proposals for the sales team using SAP pricing models, market intelligence, and additional input from relevant stakeholders.  To collaborate and negotiate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Sourcing, R&D, and Supply Chain to book customer contracts, driving both profitability and growth. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, engaged, organized self-starter with strong analytical and technical skills. Candidate has the ability to develop strong relationships with sales and other critical functions to drive business results.  Demonstrates the ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity, and initiative. Candidates should possess a background in data analysis as well as advanced knowledge of Excel functions and formulas.


Key responsibilities include: 

●    Create competitive price proposals for the sales team, analyzing historic price and margin levels to drive profitable growth for your business unit
●    Present proposals to sales utilizing market and internal data to validitate and justify proposal
●    Book sales contracts upon agreement from customers to lock in business  
●    Take pricing ownership of assigned accounts in an independent and proactive way
●    Actively manage the contracts for your account portfolio in collaboration with sales
●    Support the bi-annual pricelist process, including commodity coverage decisions, price and margin setting analysis and customer promotions
●    Develop and manage effective and analytic reporting tools to support the business unit and the organization’s needs
●    Understand the commodity market fundamentals and gather in-depth knowledge on the chocolate manufacturing process in order to improve the pricing process
●    Actively manage pricing driven projects and participate in projects impacting the team


About you:


●    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
●    At least 3 years of experience in a Finance or Pricing function
●    Experience working in a manufacturing environment highly desired
●    Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
●    Attention to detail 
●    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (lookup tables, pivot tables, what if analysis, etc.)
●    Enthusiastic team member able to be flexible and adaptable to changing business and organizational demands and priorities.
●    Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with various levels of staff and management within company
●    Ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and effectiveness, and complete projects with a high level of accuracy
