The Logistics Analyst will manage the physical flow of cocoa raw material regionally. The ideal candidate will provide a detailed supply plan of inventory and requirements by coordinating with local and international planning teams, manage inventory and contract flows, contract balances, and lead the Sourcing Requirement planning meetings.


Key responsibilities include: 


  • Develop and maintain physical supply position of cocoa raw material
  • Coordinate cocoa raw material supply & demand planning with teams locally and internationally
  • Develop and provide weekly cocoa raw material supply position
  • Build relationship with suppliers and ensure they deliver quality as contracted
  • Sample approval management with customers and follow up on approval and rejections
  • Identify and manage quality claims and other supplier related claims
  • Manage Stock levels to corporate policy levels
  • Ensure End-of-Month activities are successfully executed
  • Manage and negotiate costs with logistic providers
  • Coordinate with brokers to ensure all shipments are customs cleared timely and reach their final destination
  • Assist with supply strategy development, project and physical position management
  • Work in coordination with AP/AR departments to monitor and ensure payments to TP as well as receivables are executed timely and resolve invoice and system discrepancies
  • Navigate SAP to support the supply chain requirements in an international and multi-plant environment
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement and cost saving projects
  • Manage key supplier projects on logistics with large customers
  • Manage service provider relationships and conduct physical audits as and when necessary
  • Coordinate with quality and R&D Teams to approve new suppliers on the supplier tool

About you:


  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters in Supply Chain preferred
  • 1-5 years of logistics experience in agricultural commodities or raw materials
  • SAP ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and multitask, work in a fast paced environment, work independently, and to meet deadlines 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and delegation skills
  • Excellent implementation and execution skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Creative thinking with emphasis on developing innovative solutions
