Analyst, Accounts Payable

The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for the management, reporting, data entry, and control of all freight-related invoices for North America.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Manages all aspects of billing relationships with vendors and carriers; recommends and implements process improvements
• Oversees the expansion/implementation of transportation management software tools (TMS) and data maintenance
• Manages the Accounts Payable Clerk handling day-to-day invoices processing.
• Investigates and resolves problems associated with the processing of invoices.
• Communicate with plants and transport planners to confirm transportation charges
• Responsible for monthly closing of financial documents, freight accruals, etc.
• Assist with any external audit request
• Participates in special projects as needed
   

About you:

• College degree with courses in Accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a Supply Chain/Operations function in a manufacturing environment
• TMS and SAP experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Sense of urgency and initiative
